Danielle Keys is an adaptable and direct clinician who is passionate about collaboratively assisting children, teens, adults, and families to achieve their unique goals in a healthy manner.
Danielle combines counseling techniques with practical, problem solving approaches to strengthen behavioral, emotional, and mind-body functioning to manage stress and empower clients. Danielle highly values client-centered approach to therapy and behavioral therapies to meet clients where they are and with acceptance.
Danielle has experience working with diverse concerns as relationship distress, trauma, issues with anger, anxiety, depression, persons with disabilities, domestic violence, life transitions, career counseling, LGBTQ concerns, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, and parenting concerns.
Danielle is open about being legally-blind. Danielle graduated with her B.A in psychology and transitioned immediately into earning a M.S. Ed in clinical counseling from NIU along with certificate in career counseling. In outpatient settings, she has enjoyed co-facilitating and independently running groups including anger management, healthy relationships for girls, Dialectical Behavior Therapy for families, ADHD educational and experience, and Co-occurring autism and mood disorder parent group.
Danielle is a dedicated learner who is enthusiastic about continued growth to develop her clinical skills to best work with clients. Danielle sees clients online through our HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform.
